Manuel Garcia is a motion designer based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Currently working for Wodify Technologies as a motion designer and animation director, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team based in Lisbon and Philadelphia. Creates multimedia content for advertising, training and user interfaces for fitness management software.
Previously worked for 10 years in digital advertising for Fullsix Group, starting as a web designer and later specialising in animation and video productions having the opportunity to work with very talented colleagues in award winning projects.
Graduated in Communication Design and holds a masters degree in Communication Design and New Media both by Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa.
Lecturer at IADE University from 2013 to 2017. Coordinator for Motion Design course for EDIT School of Interactive Design and Technology in 2012.
Collaborates in artistic projects for music videos, scenography or other experimental approaches having co-founded the collective We Are Plastic Too and collaborated with companies such as Teatro La Féria and EIRA (Contemporary Dance).

As a hobby practices endurance sports having completed the UTMB (168 Km in the Alps around Mont Blanc) and having cycled Portugal along the EN2 (738 Km) for a cause with the project Plantar Portugal em Bicicleta.
